Ok, this was really just made up on the day – I started with the first hop addition and then just decided what the next one would be. The difference between the smell of the Northern Brewer (amazing) and Chinook (what smell?) – I gave up adding the Chinook and will save that one for porters.
Notes
The wort tasted good – hoppy.
7/5 I cannot see or hear bubbling action so am worried – the lid seal seems good.
8/5 It was bubbling when I got home from work yesterday and still going this morning! Wahoo!
10/5 not even 7am and I am dry hopping… ah I love brewing.
19/5 Bottling day. The smells are not as good as brew day, but tastes ok.
Tasting Notes
3/6 Whilst I am not convinced about the abv, it is a very nice beer. What I need to do is learn how to describe the taste! There is something in the taste I do not want there, but otherwise it is enjoyable.
