The last couple of beers (the all grain ones) have not been too flash so far. But hey try and try again I say.

Notes

18/11 This time I tried batch sparging – I do not know what is up… technique, hydrometer, or what but the gravity reading suggests crap efficiency!

19/11 It was bubbling nicely within 24 hours.

29/11 and I dry hopped it this morning as planned. That was a lot of hops.

2/12 it tasted quite nice when I bottled it today. I used DME for priming – 260grms in 2 cups of water.

Tasting Notes

24/12 I am a little unsure about this one. The numbers where lower than I wanted. But the end result is a reasonably clear beer compared with my previous all grain ones (there is a lot of sediment in the bottles – so one has to be careful). There are bubbles in it, but no head. It smells hoppy and tastes hoppy but the hops do not complement each other and there is a grassy taste.
