I am not sure why I changed from the Pacific Jade, Motueka, and Nelson Sauvin combination – but I went Southern Cross, Motueka, and Nelson Sauvin.
Notes
The brew day went nice and smoothly – close to my targets (I think I either need to boil harder or adjust my boil off rates). It tasted very nice – and I stuck to the hop additions which surprised me.
Tasting Notes
At bottling time I was amazed at the hops. But the aroma hop flavour/smell was significantly reduced after 3 weeks in the bottle. Still I am happy with the final beer. There is a yeasty flavour which I would have preferred not being there.
