Again I was after something a little different, I was keen for another IPA or PA, but something to change it a little. I came across this http://beersmithrecipes.com/viewrecipe/81377/caipa-citra-rye and so I went to the local supply store to see what I could get.

Notes

25/10 Wow I am rusty – that was not as smooth as it should have been. Numbers are a little lower than targeted which is a little disappointing. I should have used the hop bag too – that was a lot of gunk that went into the fermenter. But I am not going to use bags for the dry hopping so it will not matter much.

12/11 The triple dry hopped profile I was wanting to try went out the window – a last minute work trip meant I missed the slots for dry hopping and temperature change. Today I added 140g Citra and 20g Cascade and set the temp to 10deg.

13/11 Dropped the temp to 3deg and cleaned all the bottles ready for bottling tomorrow.

14/11 It is not a clear beer (both the boil and dry hops were added straight in) but it tasted nice. Definitely a Citra beer, but not a full on Citra only beer. I think the hop combination was good. 1064 to 1012 so around that 6.8% abv mark (ignoring bottle conditioning adding a little).
